This vegan cereal bar recipe is so simple to make with just five ingredients. It’s perfect for lunchboxes or after a workout. I was paid to create the recipe for Nature’s Path to show how versatile their organic gluten free cereal is.
If you're making the nut butter, place the nuts into a chopper and pulse until a butter forms. Add a little vegetable oil of your choice if needed to make a runny consistency
Place the nut butter into a small saucepan along with the liquid sweetener you're using
Warm gently over a low heat until well combined and warm
Add the cinnamon and sesame seeds to the warm nut butter and syrup mixture
Stir well to combine the ingredients before adding the cereal
Stir the cereal through the nut and syrup mixture until well coated
Tip the mixture into a dish measuring approx. 20cm x 30cm. Press it into the sides of the dish and smooth the top
Place in the fridge to set before cutting into 12 equal portions
